Day 02
Today’s featured project is the home of the Frontier League Normal Cornbelters, known as the “Corn Crib”. Located on the Heartland Community College campus in Bloomington/Normal, IL this 4,000 seat multi-purpose facility is shared by the Cornbelters, Heartland Hawks Baseball and soccer programs.
Although our sports experience prior to starting Pendulum is fairly extensive, this project being our first new ballpark maintains a special place in our hearts.
Interesting fact:
The many references to corn throughout the facility branding and overall grounds is the result of a partnership between the Cornbelters and the Illinois Corn Growers Association of Bloomington, IL.
